The focus of this special track is on the application of intelligent systems technologies within the aerospace industry. Of special interest are deployed or near-deployed software and hardware components with the potential to decrease system risk, increase capability, and minimize life cycle costs to this multi-billion dollar field. Because of its historically conservative nature and high inherent design and development costs, we feel this forum is the best way to incorporate new technologies at a time when we can no longer fiscally afford to stay the course of business as usual.
This will be a multi-session track with each session addressing different technologies and/or domains in which AI has applicability within the aerospace industry. Each session will consist of paper presentations from selected authors. Areas of interest within the track include:
